Passenger Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LagosGarage platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Service. LagosGarage reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Service Description

LagosGarage provides a digital platform for booking bus tickets across Lagos, Nigeria. Our services include:

• Real-time bus route booking and seat selection
• Digital wallet for prepaid travel
• Commuter subscription plans for regular travelers
• QR code-based ticket verification

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify LagosGarage of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Wallet and Prepaid Plans

Funds deposited into your LagosGarage wallet are non-refundable except in cases of service cancellation by LagosGarage. Prepaid commuter plans are valid for the specified duration and cannot be transferred to another user. Unused trips at the end of a plan period expire and are not refundable. Discounts applied to prepaid plans are conditional on completing the full subscription period.

5. Booking and Cancellation

All bookings are subject to availability. Once a ticket is purchased, cancellations are permitted up to 2 hours before departure for a full refund to your wallet. Cancellations within 2 hours of departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are not eligible for refunds.

6. Passenger Conduct

While using LagosGarage services and during transit, passengers must:

• Present valid QR code tickets for verification
• Occupy only the assigned seat
• Refrain from disruptive, dangerous, or illegal behavior
• Comply with all instructions from drivers and LagosGarage staff
• Not consume alcohol or illegal substances on board
• Keep personal belongings secure; LagosGarage is not liable for lost items

7. Limitation of Liability

LagosGarage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to LagosGarage in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. LagosGarage is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against LagosGarage.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
